Full head wigs are best for those with extensive hair loss. For moderate to severe hair loss on the top of the head you can consider partial hair pieces/additions to cover the affected area to provide a fuller look.
You can consider human or synthetic hair.

For the prescription of a full cranial prosthesis
Coverage for hair replacement prosthesis (wigs and hair pieces) are different for each insurance company. However have your doctor note the severity of your condition and that without the prescription of a full cranial prosthesis is your only option for leading a normal life and without it would be difficult to work.
